Summer learning journey

 Today during cyber smart we were told about something called the summer learning journey. Its basically you being given tasks to do during the holidays and at the start of school depending on how much points you get you'll get given a prize. The task we've been given is we were told to go on a website and click on a link that'll lead us to basically a online coloring book. We chose what picture we wanted to color in and basically colored in our own version of the picture, or you could choose your own set of colors etc..

Evaluating media

 Today during cyber smart, im not quite sure how to explain what we were learning but what we did was we were given a few slides, and on the slides we got to chose whether the photo we were given looked real or fake and we had to explain why we think so.

What is media ?

During cyber smart we have learnt the different types of medias. We had to make a google drawing on what types of medias we've seen in the last 24 hours. Do you recognize any of these type of medias ?

My morning

This morning I woke up a bit late, I woke up around 8:03 or something. Since I live far, I had to get ready fast so I don't waste time. So I missed out on most of the action in just dance, Not that I care but on my way home, I fell asleep because I was really tired I don't know why, probably cause I stayed up eating and talking to Ka, Leilani and Hulita but anyway. I arrived at school and heard the music from just dance. I walked in through the green door thingy way and went to take in my phone. As I took in my phone Wndsor was making their way to class. I went up to class and got onto my maths and yeah thats it.

Market day 2019

Market Day 

On the 3rd of July 2019 our school was holding a market day. Our class were selling Cookies, Slime, Milkshakes, Cake pops & Truffles, Koko laisa & fried bread. The names of our stalls were Cookie Lala, Slime Seasons, Shake’d Up, Cake’d It and Island Time.

My group ‘Cookie Lala’ was setting up the icing for the cookies before the market day started, then we decorated them. There were house cookies, M&m cookies and Emoji cookies. When we were all organised my nana came and she was our first customer. She bought six cookies.

As customers kept coming to our stall we decided to lower our price of our cookies from $2.00 to $1.00. A few minutes after that we sold out a lot quicker! While we were waiting for customers I went for a walk to see the other markets. I saw mango otai so I bought a cup of that. It was $2.50. Then I saw my friend from room 6 doing henna hand art so I decided to get one. Then she told me my nena came and got one so I decided to get the same one as my nena.

I  got back to my stall and took my mango otai and put it on the table next to our stall. There was some music in the background and Cookie Lala (which was our group) and cake’d it started dancing together while listening to the music. We kept dancing until we had customers then finished with our customer and then went back to dancing.

We soon sold out then me and Hulita went to exchange $10.00 of her money into Wesley money, then Lorenzo came and gave me $10.00 so I went to exchange that. Once me and Hulita exchanged all our money we found Kafo and then we started walking around together. When we spent our money we ended up walking around and talking to each other.

As market day came to an end me and Hulita took 2 tables up stairs then waited for the key to come up to us. When the key came we took everything back into class then we cleaned up the class and waited for the bell to ring

My holidays!

My holidays started from when I went to my cousins house for her birthday. We got ready and got everything organised, then we were on our way to jump. Once everyone was there we started putting socks on that we were provided by jump. Then we  hopped onto the trampolines and started jumping around everywhere. When we got back to her house we were just watching Netflix and eating.

I went home and as the days went by I noticed all my brothers did was watch Netflix and play games from 6 am to 5 pm. I decided one day that I wanted to go to my brothers and play outside with them just so they can get some fresh air. They wanted some food so I told them I was going to walk to the dairy and buy them something. They said they wanted to come so all 4 of my brothers and I walked to the shop to get some food and drinks. We came back then we realised I had a ball in my pocket, so I asked if they wanted to play “handball” and they said yes. So we played that for a few hours or minutes then went inside for dinner. Then we just all watched Netflix together until we fell asleep.

I went onto gmail on my Chromebook then saw that Ebony was active. So I was on a call with her. We started talking about school and Ebony was spilling all the tea. She told me what she likes to watch on Netflix. I basically stayed on a call with Ebony the whole night. But since Ebony had to sleep early for netball training I was watching Netflix until I fell asleep.

A lot of nights went by and on those nights I would be on a call with Kalila, we’d just keep talking about ourselves and what we’ve been doing for the holidays. Every night we would call and talk and listen to stuff and share stuff and more.

But then the holidays were coming to an end so I decided to get back into my routine of sleeping early and waking up early for school. I did that for the last 3 days and kept my room tidy. One thing I forgot to do was sort out my drawers and throw out some of my old clothes cause most of my clothes can’t even fit in all of my drawers.
